FilePebble is a growing collection of small tools for your everyday files. The idea is simple: get from the file you have to the file you need, without creating an account or uploading its contents to a conversion server.

- Markdown preview, standalone HTML export and Word document export.
- Markdown PDF export through your browser’s print dialog.
- Text comparison with optional case and whitespace rules.
- Structural JSON comparison that ignores object-key order.
- CSV to JSON and JSON to CSV conversion; JSON formatting and syntax validation.
- CSV row/cell comparison with optional key matching; image pixel comparison with overlay and difference views.
- JPG, PNG and WebP conversion; JPG/WebP compression with target-size feedback.
- Image resize with aspect-ratio lock and pixel-coordinate cropping.
- Images to PDF, PDF merge and split, and page reordering, rotation and removal.
- PDF page export as PNG/JPG images and selectable-text extraction.
Next on the workbench
Batch image workflows, PDF compression and OCR are possible future additions. These are planned features, not available tools yet.
Built around local processing
Our current tools run on your device. Inputs disappear when you leave or reload the page. We do not store a copy, so download results you need to keep. Device memory and browser support limit the size of jobs we can process.
How we will support the project
This first release is free and has no advertising or paid features. Advertising and optional paid workflows may support future development. We will update our privacy information before introducing external analytics, advertising, or server-based processing.
