Terms of use.
Effective 11 October 2026. These terms describe use of filepebble.com, an independent project maintained by Adhi (AdhiAR437). Please read them before using the tools.
The service
FilePebble offers free file conversions, comparisons and other utilities that run in your browser. No account or payment is required for the current tools. Browser support, file-size limits and device memory affect what a tool can process. Features and limits may change as the project develops.
Your files and permitted use
You retain your rights in the files and content you process. FilePebble does not claim ownership of your inputs or outputs. Use files you own or have permission to process, and follow applicable laws and third-party rights. Do not use the website to distribute unlawful content, interfere with the service or compromise another person’s device.
Check your results
Keep an original copy and review an output before relying on it. Conversion can change formatting, image quality, metadata or document features. Comparisons identify changes according to the selected rules and do not certify that two documents have the same meaning. The tool pages explain supported formats and important limitations.
PDF operations are not a redaction or sanitisation service. They do not preserve every PDF feature. Text extraction is not OCR. Markdown to PDF uses your browser’s print workflow, and Word export supports a subset of Markdown. The service is not intended to guarantee archival, legal or accessibility compliance of generated documents.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, compatibility with every file or error-free results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is given that the tools will meet a particular purpose. You are responsible for choosing appropriate tools and checking results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Privacy and external services
File contents are processed locally by the current tools. Visiting the website still sends ordinary web requests to our host, Cloudflare. See the privacy page for details. Links to GitHub and other websites are optional; those services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Open-source components
Third-party libraries retain their own copyright and licence terms, listed in the open-source notices. Free access to the website does not grant a licence to redistribute FilePebble’s application source; its repository licence applies separately.
Changes and contact
We will update this page’s effective date when these terms change. If paid features or advertising are introduced, the relevant terms and privacy information will be updated. Questions about these terms can be raised through the support channel on our contact page.
