JSON to CSV
Make an array of records spreadsheet-ready.
How it works
- Paste your content or open a supported local file.
- Choose your settings, then preview or process it.
- Copy or download the result. Clear your work when finished.
A few useful details
CSV needs a header row. CSV → JSON keeps values as strings to preserve IDs and leading zeroes. JSON → CSV accepts an array of records, serialises nested values, and prefixes formula-like cells for safer spreadsheet opening.
Inputs are limited to 1 MB; text comparison is limited to 100,000 characters per side. File contents are not saved between visits.
When to use JSON to CSV
Convert a non-empty JSON array of records into CSV for a spreadsheet or import workflow. Fields from all records become columns, including optional properties. Nested objects and arrays become JSON text in a cell rather than multiple expanded columns.
Frequently asked questions
Can I convert a single object?
Wrap it in an array, such as [{"name":"Adhi"}]. The tool requires a non-empty array of objects with record fields.
What happens to nested data and large IDs?
Nested data becomes JSON text inside cells. Numbers are parsed with JavaScript precision, so large IDs should already be strings before conversion.
Why does a cell start with an apostrophe?
Formula-like values are prefixed to reduce spreadsheet formula execution risk. Review the CSV before importing it into a system where exact cell text matters.
