A few useful details

Encrypted PDFs and interactive forms or signatures are not supported. Page operations do not preserve bookmarks and document-level features. PDF text extraction is not OCR; reading order may need cleanup.

Up to 20 MB per PDF, 40 MB combined and 100 pages total. Images to PDF accepts up to 20 images and 40 megapixels combined. Page image export is limited to 20 pages per job, 12 megapixels per page and 50 MB output. File contents are not saved between visits.

A PRACTICAL GUIDE

When to use Split PDF

Extract selected pages into one PDF or save separate PDFs in a ZIP. Share a report section or split a document packet using page positions rather than printed labels. Enter individual pages and ascending ranges with a normal hyphen.

Frequently asked questions

What does a blank selection do?

It selects all pages. Enter a range to extract a subset. Page positions start at 1.

Can every page become a separate PDF?

Yes. Choose the separate-PDF option and leave the selection blank. Download and extract the ZIP.

Is splitting secure redaction?

No. It selects pages rather than providing a certified redaction or sanitisation service. Do not rely on it to remove all sensitive information in a PDF.
